Story Time at The Breakers Stable & Carriage House is a celebration of the winter season! Families can listen to a winter-themed story, participate in craft projects, and view the carriages. Museum of Newport History at the Brick Market at 127 Thames Street

From Newport’s colonial Golden Age to Gilded Age summer colony, discover the transformation of the city and its people. Kids, set sail on a seafaring adventure! Museum staff will read from a variety of the nautically-themed books featured in the museum store. Whether it’s an old familiar favorite or something not yet on your bookshelf, there’s sure to be a tale to please even the most reluctant sailor. Museum admission for attending children is free, and 15% off for attending adults with a Winterfest wristband.

Beautiful and historic Saint Mary's Church invites Winter Festival guests to stop in and visit.
The 1852 Gothic Revival style building is home to R.I.’s oldest Catholic parish and boasts beautiful Austrian-made stained glass windows.
