Winter heats up as area restaurants and caterers compete to see who has the best chili in town! Bring your appetite, sharpen your taste buds, and join in the fun as you choose your favorite chili! From classic recipes to unique twists, you'll find a chili to satisfy every craving. So mark your calendars and bring your appetite for a day filled with flavor, fun, and friendly competition! Tickets $12 in advance or with bracelet / $15 at the door without bracelet

Mac & Cheese Smackdown

The Mac is Back! – The Cheesiest Event Rhode Island Has Ever Seen… The Mac and Cheese Smack Down! Join us for the ultimate mac and cheese showdown at the Newport Marriott Hotel. Get ready to indulge in a cheesy extravaganza like no other, with 13 Local Restaurants competing this year! Whether you're a mac and cheese connoisseur or just a fan of this comfort food classic, this event is a must-attend. Sample a variety of mouthwatering mac and cheese creations prepared by talented local chefs. From traditional recipes to innovative twists, you'll have the chance to savor an array of cheesy delights. Cast your vote for the best mac and cheese dish and help decide the winner!

The event will be 11:30am-3:30pm. Tickets $18 in advance or with bracelet/ $20 at the door. Children 4-9 years $9/ $11. FIY due to space there will be No Strollers Allowed in the Event Room, there will be Stroller Parking available.
Burger Bender
February 14th-23rd, Because not all burgers are created equal...
The Newport Burger Bender is a simple "best burger" contest taking place Friday, February 14 through Sunday, February 23, 2025 at participating restaurants throughout Newport and Bristol counties.
Area restaurants are throwing their buns in the ring with the hopes of being crowned the Best Burger in Newport. Try one. Try some. Try them all. Then vote for your favorite by clicking on the burger below and submitting your simple voting form. Voting begins February 15th and ends February 24th. You’ll be automatically entered to win one of our daily giveaways throughout the Burger Bender contest. The restaurant with the burger that gets the most votes will be crowned the winner.
